We are seeking a reliable and skilled NON CDL delivery driver for our retread delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating box truck, to deliver loads to our customers located in across the United States area. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. MUST have a DOT medical card.

Responsibilities
  • Load and unload General freights at customer location via liftgate box truck
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and deliveries made
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to transportation operations
  • Ensure that the truck is clean and well-maintained at all times

Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
  • Experience driving various types of trucks including refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and box trucks is preferred
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
  • Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety regulations
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients
  • High school diploma / GED or equivalence is preferred
  • A commitment to maintaining a safe driving record

Responsibilities

Requirements

What you'll do...


The work schedule for the position is Monday to Saturday from approximately 0900 to 1930.

Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and or in writing e.g. customers suppliers associates.
Implement the business plan for area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling assigning duties and coordinating workloads in order to achieve facility goals.
Manage daily administrative functions of the HR office e.g. benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, payroll by executing and refining recruiting and staffing initiatives and researching and addressing employment related concerns for applicants associates and managers.

The annual salary range for this position is $10,000-$40,000
